the jig is up

the jig is up

eleventh hour

King Amon was afforded only 2 years to get his stuff together. 1 His father Manasseh was wicked till late in life and finally repented. Maybe Amon thought he’d have the same chance: “I’ll get around to repentance later… I want to have some fun first.”

Nope. Dead at 24. After just 2 years, the jig was up. His number was called.

No one is guaranteed a second chance. Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart. Today is the day of repentance. Now is the day of salvation.

If today is your final day, is your spiritual house in order? If tonight your soul is required of you, is there any repentance or restitution you’ve yet to make? Eternity is a long time for regrets. Just ask Amon.
